Welcome to Student Deals Club (SDC)! By accessing or using our website, mobile app, or partner app (together the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&C”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our Services. Student Deals Club is a trading name of MacArthur Ventures Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 16306675. Our registered office is at 4 Goldings Cottages, Brickyard Lane, Wotton, Dorking, England, RH5 6QE.

The Services are designed to connect students with information on deals, discounts, and events, and to allow partners (businesses and organisations) to upload and manage their own offers. While we strive to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee the reliability of third-party listings. Offers are subject to availability, and any discrepancies, cancellations, or disputes are the responsibility of the partner providing them.

Eligibility:

​

Users (students/customers): You must be aged 16 or older. By creating an account, you agree to provide truthful information and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Partners (businesses/organisations): You must be legally entitled to represent the business or organisation you register. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these T&C or our policies.
 

Partner Responsibilities:

Partners using the partner app agree to:

• Upload accurate, lawful, and non-misleading information about deals and events.

​

• Honour the terms of any deals, discounts, or events they publish.

​

• Ensure uploaded content does not infringe the rights of third parties.

​

• Take sole responsibility for claims, complaints, cancellations, or disputes arising from their listings.

SDC may remove or suspend partner listings at its discretion, including for misleading, harmful, or non-compliant content.

Partner Subscriptions and Fees:
 

• Partners may access the Services under a free trial or a paid subscription plan (“Tier”).
   

• The details of each Tier, including pricing, features, and duration, will be outlined separately in an email, onboarding contract, or in-app confirmation.

​

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
   

• Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled by the Partner.
   

• Partners may cancel their subscription at any time. Access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period, after which the account will revert to the free plan (if applicable).
   

• Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
   

• We reserve the right to modify subscription Tiers, features, or pricing. Any changes will be communicated in advance, and continued use of the Services indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

User Responsibilities:

 

Users of the mobile app agree to:

​

• Use deals, discounts, and events in line with the terms provided by the partner.
   

• Not engage in fraudulent activity, abuse offers, or interfere with the operation of the Services.
   

• Understand that availability of offers or entry to events is not guaranteed by SDC and is at the discretion of the partner.

 

Interaction Between Users and Partners:

All transactions, redemptions, and attendance at events are strictly between the user and the partner. SDC is not a party to these transactions and does not mediate disputes. Users should contact partners directly in the event of an issue. Partners are expected to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

Donations:

​

All donations made through the Services are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Donations support SDC’s mission to enhance student access to events and discounts.

Intellectual Property:

​

All content on the Services, including text, images, graphics, and branding, is the property of SDC or its licensors. Partner-uploaded content remains the property of the partner but may be displayed, promoted, or used by SDC within the Services. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.

Prohibited Activities:

​

Users and partners may not:

 

• Upload false, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.

​

• Engage in fraudulent activities or interfere with the functionality of the Services.

​

• Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes.
   

Privacy:

​

Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Services, you agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Site and T&C:

​

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Services without notice. Updates to these T&C will be posted within the apps and/or on our website. Continued use indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.

Limitation of Liability:

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SDC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Services or reliance on any information provided. The Services are provided 'as-is,' without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Users acknowledge that third-party offers, events, and services listed are outside the control of SDC, and SDC makes no guarantees regarding their accuracy or availability. Partners remain solely responsible for their listings and any resulting obligations.

Governing Law:

​

These T&C are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these T&C shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
